A scenic view of Baker City looking west at The Elkhorn Mountains, a subrange of the Blue Mountains. Its highest point is at 9,108 feet. I-84 and Campbell street can be seen near the bottom of the photo.

I took this picture up Pine Creek near Baker City. I love the contrast in this photo. Dark shadows in the foreground, sunlight illuminating the trees right at the tree line and a beautiful blue sky with a few clouds.
